Not pictured is the faux bearskin rug and gas stove, which while being more than a little corny was also a great place to relax after a long day of outdoor activities.
I'm back from a few days up north in Alaska. To call it beautiful is such an understatement. Trees as far as you can see, water so clear you can easily see the bottom of the river, and snow capped mountains high into the sky. We set up camp for a few days in Talkeetna, Alaska. It was the ideal location for all our adventures and very charming. A few pictures of the cabin where we stayed in Talkeetna. It was the perfect spot-only 2 hours north of Anchorage, easy access to day trips like fishing or airplane tours, and a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Not pictured is the faux bearskin rug and gas stove, which while being more than a little corny was also a great place to relax after a long day of outdoor activities. This picture reminds me of the line from Forest Gump, "like that mountain lake. It was so clear, it looked like there were two skies one on top of the other. " I'm already thinking of where to visit next. Redwood Forest? Joshua Tree? I've found flattering hiking pants. This is no small miracle and I need a trip that requires them.
