After the game in San Diego on Saturday, I went to Coronado Island for the afternoon for lunch and a visit to the beach. No trip to Coronado Island is complete without a visit to the Hotel del Coronado. The hotel opened in 1888 and is one of the oldest Victorian structures still in existence. Unlike most Victorians, the hotel's facade is a clean, crisp white. A classic filmed at a classic. What's not to love?
