I'm looking forward to the upcoming July 4th weekend. While I do have to work on Sunday, I get to be a regular citizen the other 2 days. I'll have a special (almost 5 year old) VIP in town, and I'm excited for some quality Southern California fun.
Disneyland, in all it's glory
On Saturday, bright and early, I'll be bound for the House of Mouse, Disneyland. The goal is to get there early and hopefully maintain a little bit of sanity. There may be a frozen cocktail as part of my Disney visit, we'll see.
Image courtesy Lamps Plus My bedroom is about 65% of the way to being done. The overall plan is navy, sunflower yellow and lots white. It's not a large room and we've got a King sized bed. The room can only handle small doses of pattern to keep the space restful.

Annenberg Beach House
Going to the beach is one of my favorite things to do. But sometimes pools are easier when you've got children with you. The Annenberg Beach House is the best of both. I have to set my alarm early on Friday to snag a reservation. They've got everything you need for a lovely day without the schlepping.

I've seen lots of fun tassel jewelry this season but either the price point was crazy high or the quality pretty shoddy.
This lovely only set me back $16.99 but the quality makes it look way more expensive. They had a few more colors available in case coral isn't your jam.
