Now I've already set my sights on the art grid featuring starfish, mollusks and the like, so this won't really do for me. But I do think it would make a lovely housewarming gift.
One of my favorite pieces from Ethan Allen is this coral bowl. I've had my eye on it from the day we introduced it. I love the detail and workmanship. It's elegant, interesting and would work beautifully in a variety of style of rooms. It's also generously sized (18" or so in diameter). Alas, at $659 it is pretty well out of my price range. Earlier today, while catching up on some blogs, I came across this little beauty from Zgallerie. Of course, this bowl doesn't have nearly the same level of detail and is significantly smaller (11" diameter), but it is quite darling. And for only $25, it wouldn't break the budget.
